Galaxy's talent is learning about astronomy, and the secrets that lie within the universe. One time she got separated from her family, and was lost in the woods. She cried and worried that she would never see home again, and for the first time got to admire the night sky. Princess Celestia then appeared (at the time Luna was banished on the moon), and helped Galaxy, by showing her how to navigate and to get back home using the stars. She eventually made it back, and ever since then her heart has been set about learning astronomy.

She often dreams of flying as fast as a shooting star, and tends to join Twilight when she goes star gazing or doing research on the night sky.

Galaxy is a brave, adventurous type. She is willing to try out anything new and learn about it. Though she is a busy pony and doesn't like having to quit in the middle of something, she is always loyal to her friends. She teases her friends a lot but her friends don't mind it because they know that's how she shows she loves them.

Galaxy tends to get distracted easily, especially when she has to do something boring. She is a very patient pony, and sometimes has to try to help other ponies with that. She is also very observant of ponies and their body language.

 Jay Strike - Galaxy has known Jay since she was a little filly. He's been with her through thick in thin. She often relies on him to be there for her whenever she needs help with something, or needs to talk. She realized she started having feelings for him during the middle of her teenage years, but still denies it and tends to tell herself over and over that she doesn't. She fears that feelings can ruin their relationship, plus she doesn't like how much it controls her life. She rather be free from feelings and not be distracted from it.
